day 2

This city is so busy and so hectic...I'm definitely not used to this amount of noise but I'm sure I won't even hear it soon. I have a small room with a pretty balcony. My host family is very nice and I feel very comfortable here. But I still tear up when I talk about or think about my niece and nephews....unless I'm talking to them on video chat. I just miss them a lot. It's been working well, it's clear and hardly ever freezes. I also miss my cats!! :( I'm so happy I have a cat here. I guess I need to get ready to leave pretty soon. My teacher from UMKC is taking us to different parts of this huge city each day this week. Yesterday, we walked from 11-1 then had lunch then we were walking from 2-7 I bet I walked 10 miles yesterday! Then I rode the subway home which was so crowded, I was literally squished between people for 20 minutes then I walked some more and got home at 8 pm. I took a shower then ate dinner. We will be walking just as much today-it's a good thing I brought my tennis shoes!! :)
