The Berlin wall was beautiful but the message behind the wall was not forgotten.

All of Berlin seemed to be under construction :(
I think we counted 22 cranes in the heart of the city. It was kind of plain. It wasn't as gorgeous as some of the other places we had visited but we assumed it was because the city was destroyed in the war...but who knows?

We FINALLY made it to Amsterdam
So, it took us 48 hours to get here. 48 hours of continuous train and subway travel from hell. (lol) But....it is so incredibly GORGEOUS here!
and the bike to car ratio is off the charts! :)
