Tibidabo in Barcelona

I went Barcelona over the weekend.

They speak Catalán and I don't speak it! Lol

They do speak Spanish here but most of the signs are in Catalán. Here's a newspaper I found!

Yeah, that's not Spanish!

Im at the Gatoteca!

Saying I love cats is an understatement. I devote a lot of time and money to help cats. So, imagine how happy I was to find out that there are (as far as I know) 2 cat cafes in the world and one is in Madrid!

You pay a small amount, 6€, you get free wifi, a drink and all of the cat loving you want! Although I came at nap time and everyone is ignoring me for the most part!

A morning run in the park!

At home, I run on a treadmill because I have back issues. There is a park about a mile and a half away from my house and they have a dirt trail. I can't run on the street so I walk to the park, run, then walk back.

I really love running outside.  I see other people, I see dogs playing ball, I get fresh air and I get to see a lot of new birds and trees that I don't recognize.

I was up early this morning and decided to go for a run to beat my previous days time of 10:34. I beat it! I ran a mile today in 10:13!! I'm so happy!

Buitrago del Lozoya

We went to Buitrago del Lozoya the other day but I forgot to post pics.  It's about an hour away from Madrid and it's beautiful!

Born in Madrid? You are a cat!

I've worked in animal rescue for nearly 8 years.  I work almost entirely with cats. I need to help animals, my soul requires it.

I took a walking tour last night and found out the those born in Madrid are called "gatos" or cats.

Here's a photo of my Spanish cat, Summer! He was "helping" me unpack!

Here's an article I found: http://turismomadrid.es/en/planes-mas-vistos/10766-de-como-los-madrilenos-fueron-apodados-qgatosq
